Yes. The Free plan runs one PocketBase instance with frontend hosting at no cost. A Stripe subscription is required to verify payment details and prevent abuse - you are never charged.

Pro is a flat $25/month. Subscribing provisions your own dedicated compute (2 vCPU) in a region you choose, set up automatically in the background — provisioning can take up to 48 hours. Each compute supports effectively unlimited PocketBase instances, backend deployments, and frontends — you're paying for the compute, not per deployment. It is one real machine rather than a metered quota. Frontends are static files and cost almost nothing, each PocketBase instance is a small Go process, and each backend runs a Node, Deno or Bun runtime — much the heaviest of the three. Dozens of instances and sites fit comfortably; backends are what you run out of room for first. Nothing is metered, and we tell you if you approach the compute's ceiling.

Yes. Starter and Pro are available on yearly billing at two months free — $100/year and $250/year. Subscribe monthly first, then switch to yearly from the billing portal in your dashboard; your plan and any add-ons carry over unchanged. If you are on an older price we have grandfathered, email us and we will set your yearly subscription up at your rate.

Twelve locations across Europe (Gravelines, Limburg, Erith, Warsaw), North America (Beauharnois, US Central, US East, US West), and Asia-Pacific (Singapore, Sydney, Japan, India) — pick one at checkout and your dedicated compute is provisioned there.

Free-plan PocketBase instances can serve 500 API requests per hour (requests to /api paths). When the hour's limit is spent, the API answers 429 until the top of the next hour — your data and the admin panel are unaffected. Starter and Pro plans have no API request limit.

Those platforms bill per running service plus a separate database, plus CPU, RAM, and bandwidth as you use them, so the invoice moves with your traffic and your number of projects.
